I recently had the pleasure of reuniting with a cherished couple whose love story I've been privileged to document from their engagement to their wedding day. This time, I was blessed to visit them in their home for a Lifestyle Family Portrait session in Berkley with the delightful task of capturing their family life with their adorable son, Miro.
What made this session truly remarkable was its relaxed and intimate setting at their home. At-home sessions offer a unique opportunity to capture authentic moments, especially when young children are involved. The familiar environment put everyone at ease, allowing us to document their lives as they truly are. Getting images of them cuddling up on the couch that they spend so much time on together in their daily life. I loved getting photos in Miro's nursery to capture the memories of this very special time in Miro's life. Miro was extra calm and happy as he was in the comfort of his own home, rather than traveling to my studio or a local park.
Being a part of this family's journey, from their engagement to this latest chapter, has been an incredible privilege. Each session feels like a reunion with old friends, and I can't wait to continue capturing their beautiful moments as they unfold.
