This wedding was so refreshing to photograph. After most weddings were canceled or turned into small elopements, it had been a while since I had photographed a full wedding. To show up and see everyone gathered helping the bride get ready again, was such a beautiful sight to see.
It helped that this wedding took place at one of my favorite venues ever, The Forest House Lodge. This venue has some of the most beautiful, unique interior spaces I have ever witnessed and hands down one of the most breathtaking ceremony locations ever. It was the perfect space for this intimate, sweet wedding between Briana and Joseph.
Something that made this wedding have those extra heart-string-pulling moments was the fact that they took so much care during the ceremony and reception to include Joseph's daughter in the events.
It was made very clear that Briana was not only choosing to love Joseph on this day but his beautiful daughter too. If you have been following my work for a while, you know that I am a sucker for emotion and this wedding had so much of it.
Watching a family show such venerability and emotion with each other is one of my favorite things in the world to photograph. This wedding had some of the most beautiful moments between Briana, Joseph, and their parents. I swear I was about to cry my eyes out during the father-daughter dance you could just feel their love emanating from the dance floor.
